Hetalia: The Legend of the Gems: Chapter 8“Where is Russia?”
It is early in the morning. Just now, rain softly hits the window glass. Anastasia is looking around the house. She then comes across Estonia and Lithuania in the kitchen. They are preparing lunch.
“Estonia, Lithuania, where is Russia?” Anastasia asks.
“Hm? Oh, hello Anastasia. Well, by the looks of the weather, he is out,” Estonia answers.
“Where?”
“When the first rain comes, he goes out to the fields,” Lithuania answers.
“Oh. What is that?”
“Well, the first rain means that spring is coming. So, he goes to the fields to see if anything is growing,” Latvia says as he comes into the kitchen.
“How do you guys know so much?”
“Well, we have been under his…I mean lived in this house for a long time. We just picked up his habits,” Lithuania says with a deep gaze in his eyes.

It is a wonderful afternoon, even though it is still winter. The neighborhood is quiet, except for the meowing.
“Snow! Snow! Snooow!”
An Italian-cat jumps around making a lot of noise. He yowls and purrs happily.
“Italy-Cat, please. You will wake up the whole neighborhood,” growls a German-cat.
“Aww come on Germany-Cat! This is fun!”
Italy-Cat runs off. He slides on a patch of ice and collides into a snow pile.
“That’s why,” Germany-Cat growls.
Just then, another cat appears. He is a black and white cat with a bob tail.
“Oh, morning Japan-Cat.”
“Ohayou gozaimasu, Germany-Cat,” Japan-Cat replies. “Where is Italy-Cat?”
Then Italy-Cat pops out of the snow pile, “Ve~ ciao Japan-Cat!”
Japan-Cat purrs back, “Germany-Cat, Italy-Cat, do you know what today is?”
“What are you saying, Japan-Cat?” Germany-Cat asks.
“Oooo! I know! It is Valentine’s Day!” I

Hetalia: The Legend of the Gems: Chapter 6Soon enough, the meeting is dismissed. Everyone crowds into the hallways and main lobby. There is a whole lot of noise and many of the countries broke off into groups. Russia is about to walk off to find Veronica and Anastasia until America comes to talk to him.
“Hey man.”
“Hello,” Russia responds.
“Quite of a surprise that you are holding the Winter Olympics.”
“Da. Do you have something else to say?”
“Oh yea! Listen, I want a G8 meeting too. It won’t take very long.”
“But, I’m worried for…”
“They can come too! Now let’s go!”
America walks away. Then parting through the crowd Veronica and Anastasia came walking up to Russia.
“So?” Veronica asks.
“I will be holding the next Winter Olympics,” Russia sighs.
“Oh my!”
“What are the Olympics?” Anastasia asks.
“Every four years, everyone comes together to one country to compete agai

Hetalia: The Legend of the Gems: Chapter 5It is a long flight to the UN. On the way, Veronica tells Anastasia stories about the countries that she might meet.
“But why would America do that?”
“He and the citizens of the colonies wanted to fend for themselves. They did not like taking orders from Brittan who was across the ocean.”
“Oh, I see now. It must be hard to follow one’s command that is not there.”
Then they hear some snoring. They turn around just to see the Baltics sound asleep. Anastasia and Veronica giggle. Latvia and Lithuania have their heads resting on Estonia’s shoulders.
“Even when they are sleeping they are adorable,” Anastasia comments.
“Yes. This must be a very big deal if all of the countries must be summoned,” Veronica says. “By the way, Mr. Russia, do you have an idea?”
When they look over to the seat next to them, Russia is also asleep. Veronica sighs to herself. Anastasia just smiles.
‘He even looks cute too.

Hetalia: The Legend of the Gems: Chapter 4“Well, looks like you know more than you know.”
It is in the late afternoon. Anastasia and Veronica are in the library. Veronica decided to see if Anastasia can still read and write. Well, she can.
“I know! I’m very excited that I can!” Anastasia says with a smile. She looks at the books she has read and the papers she wrote. Veronica smiles back and starts to put the books away. Anastasia helps out too.
Veronica sighs, “I was hoping that Mr. Russia would be finished by now.”
“Why?”
“Well, you did like the agriculture book so I was thinking that we could go ‘out’.”
Anastasia looks to the window. She sees that snow is still on the ground and still falling.
“Where would we go?”
Veronica gives it a thought, “Well, maybe we can see the museum, the town square, and the fields. Oh, wait, silly me. There won’t be anything growing out there at this time of year.”
Anastasia smiles,

Hetalia: The Legend of the Gems: Chapter 3Just then, Lithuania and Estonia came in with tea and treats.
“Ah! Thank you boys. Set them right on the coffee table,” says Veronica. “You two can sit here.”
Veronica motions to the chair and love seat. Russia and the girl walk over. Russia sits in the chair while the girl sits in the love seat. Veronica starts pouring the tea into the cups. She then passes them to both Russia and the girl. Veronica winces in pain as she stands back up.
“Veronica, please sit,” Russia insists.
“I’m fine, dear. I’m not that old you know.”
Russia gives her a silly yet serious look. Veronica gives in with a sigh and sits next to the girl. It becomes quiet.
“Well, since no one is talking, I do have a motion,” Veronica speaks up.
“And what will that be?” Russia asks.
“Well, our guest needs a name right?” Veronica says politely. She looks at the girl who nods.

“…Just about to meet you at the door!” Lithuania finishes.
“Oh…um…yes.” Russia stutters.
It grows silent again.
“Um… Latvia, please help the lady to her room. I’ll send Miss Veronica to tend her.” Lithuania insists.
“Oh! Yes. Is that alright, Mr. Russia?” Latvia asks nervously.
“Oh, yes,” Russia states after breaking eye contact with the girl.
“Follow me miss,” Latvia motions kindly. He leads her pass Russia and continues down the hall. She looks over her shoulder and sees him starring back at her. She blushes and then hides her face.
“She’s…she’s awake?” Russia asks after she and Latvia are out of sight.
“Yes, sir.” Lithuania answers.
“She awoke about two hours ago. She was hungry, so we fed her.” Estonia says.

'What is this white stuff?'
'Why is it so cold?'
'Why am I so cold?'
Snow gently falls. A girl, appearing to be 18, lies in the soft snow. Her brown hair shivers in the chilling wind.
'Where am I?'
'Why can’t I move?'
She then hears soft footsteps. She opens her pink eyes as wide as she can, though she is very weak. A tall figure towers over her.
“Are you ok?” it asks.
Then everything went black.
'It’s now… warm.'
She opens her eyes to find herself in a bed room. She rises from under the covers and gazes around. The walls are a dark red with white bordering. The door and curtains are white too. The bed she is laying in is very big. It has a veil towering over. The blankets are red with a gold bordering and the sheets are white. The pillows match the blankets. The room is dim since there are only a few candles lit and little light shines through the window. She climbs out of the bed and walks to the door. She becam
