The Legend of Swiftstar - Chapter 4A few nights later, the WindClan cats march towards the island. The full moon shines clearly in the night sky, not one cloud dares to be seen. Swiftpaw walks with Poppypaw and Stonepaw, happy to go to the gathering rather than Holeshadow and Lusterfur.
“What are you thinking about?” Stonepaw meows, hearing Swiftpaw purring to herself.
“The fact that Holeshadow and Lusterfur are warriors.”
“Well, they are older than us. And there are more kits on the way. We need more warriors to train them.”
“And it won’t be long until we become warriors,” Poppypaw meows proudly.
Swiftpaw and Stonepaw purr in confidence. However, another thought crawled into her mind. After returning to camp after finding the ThunderClan kits, Redstar haven’t spoken to her after that night, except before they left for the Gathering. Swiftpaw knew he had to be upset with her. It could be the reason why she wasn’t made a warrior, though she wasn
The Legend of Swiftstar - Chapter 3A few moons have passed and Swiftpaw is a becoming mighty fine warrior. She manages to win over some respect from the senior warriors during her vestment test, making Holepaw and Lusterpaw pretty jealous. However, a few other cats still hold their strong opinion about her mixed blood. Though, she only has two friends who help her to keep Holepaw and Lusterpaw off of her tail: Stonepaw and Poppypaw.
“Hey! Redstar said you two can come and hunt with me!” Poppypaw comes running up to Swiftpaw and Stonepaw, who were just sharing tongues.
“How did you manage that?” Stonepaw purrs.
“Easy! He is my father after all.”
“And you want to earn your warrior name,” Swiftpaw purrs cheekily.
Poppypaw playfully swipes Swiftpaw’s ear. Swiftpaw suddenly pounces into Poppypaw and the two playfully wrestle in the clearing. However, Poppypaw is bigger than Swiftpaw, so Poppypaw pins Swiftpaw down, “Looks like I win again!”
Poppypaw lets Swift
Down the Tracks - Sneak Peak Two“Ok, arrange the blue prints in numeric order.”
The goggles respond and display them in the desired ordered fashion.
“So many locomotives…” Alex stares at the long list. Each one is currently working on the four railways that cover Sodor. She selects the first one in the NWR Main Line Engines. The blue print pops on screen, “The E2 class, Thomas. Wait a second.”
Alex pulls up another blue print that she has taken back home, “These two, don’t match.”
“So, you’re looking at the blue prints huh?”
Alex jumps at Boston’s voice, snapping her back to reality. She lifts the goggles up and lets it rest on her head, “So, you know why?”
“Of course I do,” he says with a smile, sitting down in his arm chair. Alex sits up on the couch, for she was lying down. “He was one of the last of his kind to be built.”
Alex’s eyes widen, “Really?”
“Yea, they got
Down the Tracks - a work in progress“And from this day forward, I, Pete Theodor Boomer, will be the Controller of the NWR Main Line!”
Everyone staggers in shock. How can this happen? What happened to Sir Hatt? Everyone questions the boards motives.
Boomer quiets down the crowd, “As first order, everything needs to evolve. This railway will no longer use - the power of steam.”
A sudden uproar surges out of the crowd, “Why? You can’t do such a thing! There are more steam engines on the island than diesel! That’s not the point of the North Western!”
Boomer softly grins, “You need to see, that steam is out of date. No one is making them anymore. Why hold on to - such an old technology? The only way to survive is to evolve. Starting in three days, every single steam engine will be replaced with a diesel of the same caliber, as if there is no change. Now, we will start from the top of the order: the Ffarquhar Branch Line. Make your time count.”
Boomer stared do
