“Git him, Ten Cents!”
Up high in the warehouse, Ten Cents carefully balances himself on a beam. In front of him is a small rat, frighten for its life. Sunshine watches Ten Cents as he walks across the beam.
‘Ok Ten Cents, you can do it! Just don’t look down!’ Ten Cents growls to himself. The rat also carefully walks across the beam, away from Ten Cents. But the rat knows it’s going to die either way. So, to both cats’ surprise, the rat jumps off the beam. Ten Cents jumps after it. Lucky, Ten Cents and the rat lands on the pile of loose hay.
“Stop him Sunshine!” Ten Cents yowls.
The rat runs out of the stack while Ten Cents is having troubles of getting out. Sunshine tries to stop it but the rat out smarted him and dashes for the door. It is Christmas Eve on the Island of Sodor. Engines are doing last minute jobs just before they can go home. Gingersnap and Gordon are working hard to make sure their passengers get to their stations on time for the Holidays. Thomas is even busy on his branch line. In the early evening, Annabel Lee is working in Edward’s yard. She loves to work with trucks, as we all know. She is getting ready to take the empty trucks to Ffarquhar Quarry. Then Edward steams up to talk to her.

“Thank you Edward. I just need to take these trucks to the quarry so Mavis can start when

A low growl echoes in the dark.
“Hello? Who goes there?”
No voice answers. Only steady paw steps are heard.
“Come on out or I’ll come after yea!”
The growl grows deeper and closer. Then it suddenly roars, showing its red glowing eyes.
It is light once more. The only noise is a soft creaking of the wooden hull of a tug boat. A voice moans. Under deck, a pale ginger tom rubs his head with his paw. After being awoken from his nightmare, he hit a wooden beam with his head. The pain fades away. He glances around with his hazel/green eyes. He lies on the top shelf. He sees that everything is still in place.
‘That nightmare again. Why does it keep on coming back? What does it mean?’
The sudden call of his name made him jump. He hits the beam with his head again, and then he moans, “Oh suffering stacks!” He covers his head with both paws.

Spring, the season of new life and renewal. The season that brings warmer weather and gives birds a reason to sing. But, spring is also the season of mischief.
“Get back here trespassers!”
Three cats run through the forest. The chaser is a large long fur black tom. His heavy pelt shakes as he runs. The “chasies” are two young toms: one green and the other blue.
“When I get my claws on you, I’ll tear you to shreds!” the black tom yowls; His
red eyes burn with rage.
“That maybe so but you have to catch us first!” the blue tom meows cheekily. In a flash, the blue tom disappears.
“Wait! I can’t run as fast, you twit!” the green tom cries. He looks behind him and sees the black tom gaining on him. “Help!”
The blue tom returns, growling, “Yo, flat face!”
